Fanpin Race

The race: "CARRERA CÍVICO MILITAR FAN-PIN “MIGUEL DE CERVANTES" is a endurance race It is a race characterized by it's hardness for runners consequence of the land where it takes place. It´s run over 8 kms where runners have to face road, water, land, mud and crossing over obstacles. Because of it´s hardness and the difficulties runners have to face make this race similar to extreme sports.

The runner have to take care of his own energy and pace to make it to the end, so when he reaches the mud zone, the most extenuating one, he can face it with enough energy.

The FAN-PIN main goal is to foster and promote collective values, such as camaraderie, teamwork and the spirit of group or unity, and individual values, such as the capacity for sacrifice, tenacity and the desire to improvement.

The financing of the race is carried out through the registration of the participants and the contributions of the collaborators. However, as it is proof of a marked social and charitable nature, the remainder of the money obtained, once the expenses incurred during its execution have been paid, is distributed in the form of contributions for charitable purposes in San Fernando.
